Maine Boatbuilders Show

Baxter Sail-11.jpg

Come visit us this weekend at the Maine Boatbuilders Show at the Portland Sports Complex (512 Warren Ave, Portland, ME 04103)! The event will run

  • Friday, March 22: 10am-6pm

  • Saturday, March 23: 10am-6pm

  • Sunday, March 24: 10am-4pm

We will be discussing our upcoming sailing voyages for teens on the New England coast in partnership with Tall Ships Maine. And, for those individuals still interested in sailing with us but not able to for a week, we will also be providing information for Tall Ships Maine’s Portland Schoonerfest and Regatta. Join us for a 2-3 hour sail in beautiful Casco Bay this June!

Our affiliated nonprofit foundation, Dirigo Marine Learning Center (DMLC), will also be raffling a 2001 Caillou Canoe & Slick Ryder Trailer to help raise funds to provide scholarships for students to participate in our five-day sailing trips on the New England coast. These voyages of discovery provide students with enhanced leadership skills and life-changing experiences — all from the unique perspective of a Tall Ship.

The winner of the raffle will be determined by random drawing. The drawing will either take place on September 22, 2019 OR when 600 tickets are sold — whichever comes first.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased in-person at the show with cash only. Persons under 18 years of age are prohibited from the raffle unless authorized under 17 M.R.S. § 1835-A(4).

Please click here to read our raffle rules and additional information. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to be bound by these rules.
