gap Semesters

All our fall and spring gap voyages sail along the U.S. east coast to/from our Cuban homeport of Cienfuegos.  From there, expect extended sails and land excursions along the southern Cuba coast to such locales as the Zapata nature preserve and the Bay of Pigs historical site.  Along the way, you’ll meet Cubans working diligently to hone entrepreneurial skills to shape their nation’s future.

Our team has two decades experience in running high school and college programs aboard Tall Ships – and we’re now thrilled to offer a full program of gap student voyages.  For more detail,  please visit our FAQ page or contact us — and check out our float plans and protocols below.

Our Fall 2017 Gap Semester is currently underway, so feel free to track the ship's progress as we head south to Cuba!
